Aluminium prices decline in futures trade due to weak spot market trend and reduced demand from consuming industries.
New Delhi, Sep 18 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Thursday declined 45 paise to Rs 259.50 per kilogram in the futures trade as participants trimmed their positions on a weak trend in the spot market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in October fell 45 paise or 0.17 per cent to Rs 259.50 per kg in 1,679 lots.

Analysts said cutting down of positions by participants on easing demand from consuming industries mainly kept aluminium prices lower.
