Aluminium Futures Fall on Weak Demand - PTI

Aluminium prices fell 0.62% on the Multi Commodity Exchange due to weak demand from consuming industries. Participants trimmed their positions, leading to lower prices.
New Delhi, Apr 16 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Tuesday declined 0.62 per cent to Rs 231 per kilogram in the futures market as participants trimmed their positions on a weak trend in the spot market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in April fell Rs 1.45 or 0.62 per cent to Rs 231 per kg in 3,666 lots.

Analysts said cutting down of positions by participants on easing demand from consuming industries mainly kept aluminium prices lower.
