Aluminium futures prices declined on Monday due to weak demand in the spot market, with participants reducing their positions.
New Delhi, Oct 7 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Monday declined Rs 1.25 to Rs 244.15 per kilogram in the futures market, as participants trimmed their positions on a weak trend in the spot market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in November fell Rs 1.25 or 0.51 per cent to Rs 244.15 per kg in 552 lots.

Analysts said cutting down of positions by participants on easing demand from consuming industries mainly kept aluminium prices lower.
