Aluminium futures prices declined on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) due to low demand from consuming industries, falling 45 paise to Rs 262.50 per kg.
New Delhi, Mar 18 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Tuesday slipped 45 paise to Rs 262.50 per kilogram in the futures market as participants trimmed their positions on a weak trend in the spot market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in March fell 45 paise or 0.17 per cent to Rs 262.50 per kg in 1,101 lots.

Analysts said cutting down of positions by participants on easing demand from consuming industries mainly kept aluminium prices lower.
