Aluminium Futures Rise: Fresh Bets Fuel Price Hike

Aluminium futures climb on fresh bets at MCX. September delivery up 0.22% to Rs 256/kg. Demand from industries supports price increase.

New Delhi, Aug 13 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Wednesday rose 15 paise to Rs 256 per kilogram in futures trade as speculators built up fresh positions amid a positive trend in the spot market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in September increased 15 paise or 0.22 per cent to Rs 256 per kg in 658 lots.

Analysts said fresh positions created by traders amid demand from consuming industries supported aluminium prices in the futures market.
