Aluminium Futures Rise: Fresh Bets Fuel Price Hike

Aluminium futures climb on fresh bets. October delivery up 0.25% to Rs 257.25/kg on MCX. Demand from industries supports prices.

New Delhi, Sep 25 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Thursday rose 65 paise to Rs 257.25 per kilogram in futures trade as speculators built up fresh positions amid a positive trend in the spot market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in October increased 65 paise or 0.25 per cent to Rs 257.25 per kg in 3,439 lots.

Analysts said fresh positions created by traders amid demand from consuming industries supported aluminium prices in the futures market.
