Aluminium Futures Rise on Fresh Bets - PTI

Aluminium prices rose 0.35% on Friday in futures trading on the Multi Commodity Exchange, driven by fresh positions and positive spot market trends.
New Delhi, May 31 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Friday rose 0.35 per cent to Rs 244.35 per kilogram in futures trade as speculators built up fresh positions amid a positive trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium contracts for June delivery increased 85 paise or 0.35 per cent to Rs 244.35 per kg in a business turnover of 3,396 lots.
Analysts said fresh positions created by traders amid demand from consuming industries supported aluminium prices in the futures market.
