Aluminium Futures Rise on Fresh Bets - PTI

Aluminium futures on the Multi Commodity Exchange climbed 0.64% to Rs 196.35 per kg on Friday, driven by speculators' fresh positions and strong spot market demand.
New Delhi, Dec 8 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Friday climbed 0.64 per cent to Rs 196.35 per kilogram in futures trade as speculators built up fresh positions amid a positive trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium contracts for December delivery increased by 40 paise or 0.64 per cent to Rs 196.35 per kg in a business turnover of 4,838 lots.
Analysts said fresh positions created by traders amid demand from consuming industries supported aluminium prices in the futures market.
