Aluminium prices climbed 0.57% to Rs 195.20 per kg in futures trade on Tuesday, driven by fresh bets from speculators amid positive spot market trends.
New Delhi, Dec 12 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Tuesday climbed 0.57 per cent to Rs 195.20 per kilogram in futures trade as speculators built up fresh positions amid a positive trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium contracts for December delivery increased by Rs 1.10 or 0.57 per cent to Rs 195.20 per kg in a business turnover of 4,740 lots.
Analysts said fresh positions created by traders amid demand from consuming industries supported aluminium prices in the futures market.
