Aluminium Futures Rise on Fresh Bets - PTI

Aluminium futures prices climbed 1.01% to Rs 205.55 per kg on December 22, driven by speculator bets and demand from consuming industries.
New Delhi, Dec 22 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Friday climbed 1.01 per cent to Rs 205.55 per kilogram in futures trade as speculators built up fresh positions amid a positive trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium contracts for January delivery increased by Rs 2.05 or 1.01 per cent to Rs 205.55 per kg in a business turnover of 3,375 lots.
Analysts said fresh positions created by traders amid demand from consuming industries supported aluminium prices in the futures market.
