Aluminium Futures Rise on Fresh Bets - PTI

Aluminium prices on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) edged up 0.4% to Rs 199.15 per kilogram on Thursday, driven by fresh bets from speculators and positive spot market trends.
New Delhi, Feb 29 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Thursday inched up 0.4 per cent to Rs 199.15 per kilogram in futures trade as speculators built up fresh positions amid a positive trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium contracts for March delivery increased marginally Rs 0.80 or 0.4 per cent to Rs 199.15 per kg in a business turnover of 5,159 lots.
Analysts said fresh positions created by traders amid demand from consuming industries supported aluminium prices in the futures market.
