Aluminium Futures Rise on Fresh Bets - PTI

Aluminium futures prices rose on the Multi Commodity Exchange on Monday, driven by fresh bets and demand from consuming industries.
New Delhi, Apr 8 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Monday rose 0.22 per cent to Rs 224.45 per kilogram in futures trade as speculators built up fresh positions amid a positive trend in the spot market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium contracts for April delivery increased 50 paise or 0.22 per cent to Rs 224.45 per kg in a business turnover of 3,731 lots.

Analysts said fresh positions created by traders amid demand from consuming industries supported aluminium prices in the futures market.
