Aluminium Futures Rise on Fresh Bets - PTI

Aluminium prices surged 2.52% on the Multi Commodity Exchange, driven by fresh bets from speculators and demand from consuming industries.
New Delhi, Apr 15 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Monday rose 2.52 per cent to Rs 232.15 per kilogram in futures trade as speculators built up fresh positions amid a positive trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium contracts for April delivery increased Rs 5.70 or 2.52 per cent to Rs 232.15 per kg in a business turnover of 3,326 lots.
Analysts said fresh positions created by traders amid demand from consuming industries supported aluminium prices in the futures market.
