Aluminium Futures Rise on Fresh Bets - PTI

Aluminium futures prices on the Multi Commodity Exchange rose 0.84% to Rs 239.65 per kg on Thursday, driven by fresh positions built up by speculators.
New Delhi, May 16 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Thursday rose 0.84 per cent to Rs 239.65 per kilogram in futures trade as speculators built up fresh positions amid a positive trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium contracts for May delivery increased Rs 2 or 0.84 per cent to Rs 239.65 per kg in a business turnover of 2,545 lots.
Analysts said fresh positions created by traders amid demand from consuming industries supported aluminium prices in the futures market.
