Aluminium Futures Rise on Speculation

Aluminium futures prices rose 0.35% to Rs 241.50 per kg on the Multi Commodity Exchange, driven by speculation and demand from consuming industries.
New Delhi, Oct 4 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Friday rose 0.35 per cent to Rs 241.50 per kilogram in futures trade as speculators built up fresh positions amid a positive trend in the spot market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium contracts for October delivery increased 85 paise or 0.35 per cent to Rs 241.50 per kg in a business turnover of 3,212 lots.

Analysts said fresh positions created by traders amid demand from consuming industries supported aluminium prices in the futures market.
