Aluminium Futures Surge on Demand

Aluminium futures prices rose on Friday due to increased demand from consuming industries and positive trends in the spot market. Learn more.
New Delhi, Feb 21 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Friday rose 45 paise to Rs 263.35 per kilogram in the futures market as speculators built up fresh positions amid a positive trend in the spot market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in March increased 45 paise or 0.17 per cent to Rs 263.35 per kg in 2614 lots.

Analysts said fresh positions created by traders amid demand from consuming industries supported aluminium prices in the futures market.
