Aluminium Futures Surge on Fresh Bets - PTI

Aluminium futures prices in India rose on Thursday due to increased speculation and positive spot market trends, with demand from consuming industries supporting the uptick.
New Delhi, Apr 4 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Thursday rose 1.1 per cent to Rs 221.15 per kilogram in futures trade as speculators built up fresh positions amid a positive trend in the spot market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium contracts for April delivery increased Rs 2.40 or 1.1 per cent to Rs 221.15 per kg in a business turnover of 3,696 lots.

Analysts said fresh positions created by traders amid demand from consuming industries supported aluminium prices in the futures market.
