Copper futures on the Multi Commodity Exchange fell 0.17% to Rs 835.35 per kg on Monday due to weak demand and profit booking by speculators.
New Delhi, Jan 27 (PTI) Copper futures on Monday fell 0.17 per cent to Rs 835.35 per kilogram as participants reduced their positions amid muted demand in the domestic market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for February delivery eased by Rs 1.45 or 0.17 per cent to Rs 835.35 per kg in a business turnover of 5,223 lots.

Analysts said trimming of positions by speculators amid muted demand in the spot market mainly dragged down copper prices in the futures trade.
