Copper futures slipped to Rs 878.15 per kg due to weak domestic demand. Analysts cite lower participant bets as a contributing factor.
New Delhi, Jun 5 (PTI) Copper futures on Thursday slipped to Rs 878.15 per kilogram as participants reduced their positions amid muted demand in the domestic market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for July delivery marginally eased by 45 paise or 0.05 per cent to Rs 878.15 per kilogram in a business turnover of 1,066 lots.

Analysts attributed the decline in copper prices to lower bets by participants.
