Copper Futures Fall on Weak Demand: Key Factors

Copper futures decline on MCX due to weak domestic demand. November contract eases. Analysts cite reduced participant positions.
New Delhi, Oct 28 (PTI) Copper futures on Tuesday fell Rs 9.30 to Rs 1,001.60 per kilogram as participants reduced their positions amid muted demand in the domestic market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper futures for the November contract eased by Rs 9.30 or 0.92 per cent to Rs 1,001.60 per kilogram in a business turnover of 8,024 lots.

Analysts attributed the decline in copper prices to lower bets by participants.
