Copper Futures Fall on Weak Demand - PTI

Copper futures on the Multi Commodity Exchange slipped 0.41% on Monday, reaching Rs 808.20 per kg due to muted demand and speculation.

New Delhi, Sep 16 (PTI) Copper futures on Monday fell 0.41 per cent to Rs 808.20 per kilogram as participants cut their positions amid a muted demand in the domestic market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for October delivery eased by Rs 3.35 or 0.41 per cent to Rs 808.20 per kg in a business turnover of 2,276 lots.

Analysts said trimming of positions by speculators amid a muted demand in the spot market mainly dragged down copper prices in the futures trade.
