Copper futures on the Multi Commodity Exchange fell 0.64% on Friday to Rs 858.95 per kg, driven by weak demand and speculator trimming of positions.
New Delhi, Feb 28 (PTI) Copper futures on Friday fell 0.64 per cent to Rs 858.95 per kilogram as participants reduced their positions amid muted demand in the domestic market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for March delivery eased by Rs 5.50 or 0.64 per cent to Rs 858.95 per kg in a business turnover of 5,626 lots.

Analysts said trimming of positions by speculators amid muted demand in the spot market mainly dragged down copper prices in the futures trade.
