Copper Futures Fall on Weak Demand

Copper futures decline on MCX due to weak domestic demand. December contract eases to Rs 1,010.65/kg. Analysts cite lower participant bets.
New Delhi, Nov 17 (PTI) Copper futures on Monday fell Rs 4.85 to Rs 1,010.65 per kilogram as participants reduced their positions amid muted demand in the domestic market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper futures for the December contract eased by Rs 4.85, or 0.48 per cent, to Rs 1,010.65 per kilogram in a business turnover of 4,025 lots.

Analysts attributed the decline in copper prices to lower bets by participants.
