Copper futures prices rose on the MCX today due to higher spot demand, driven by increased bets by market participants. Learn more.
New Delhi, Feb 29 (PTI) Copper prices on Thursday rose 0.29 per cent to Rs 728.15 per kilogram in the futures market on the back of higher spot demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for delivery in March traded higher by Rs 2.10 or 0.29 per cent at Rs 728.15 per kg in a business turnover of 3,975 lots.

Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to the raising of bets by participants.
