Copper prices climbed 0.23% to Rs 901.70 per kg in the futures market on Tuesday, driven by increased spot demand. Analysts attribute the rise to higher bets by participants.
New Delhi, May 28 (PTI) Copper prices on Tuesday rose 0.23 per cent to Rs 901.70 per kilogram in the futures market on the back of higher spot demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for delivery in June traded higher Rs 2.10 or 0.23 per cent at Rs 901.70 per kg in a business turnover of 5,480 lots.

Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to the raising of bets by participants.
