Copper Futures Rise on Demand - PTI

Copper futures prices climbed on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) due to increased spot demand. Analysts attribute the rise to higher bets from participants.
New Delhi, Dec 1 (PTI) Copper prices on Friday rose 0.09 per cent to Rs 722.65 per kilogram in the futures market on the back of higher spot demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for delivery in December traded higher by 65 paise or 0.09 per cent at Rs 722.65 per kg in a business turnover of 5,189 lots.

Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to the raising of bets by participants.
