Copper Futures Rise on Demand - PTI

Copper prices rose 0.48% to Rs 716.45 per kg on the Multi Commodity Exchange due to higher spot demand and increased bets by participants.
New Delhi, Dec 6 (PTI) Copper prices on Wednesday rose 0.48 per cent to Rs 716.45 per kilogram in the futures market on the back of higher spot demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for delivery in December traded higher by Rs 3.45 or 0.48 per cent at Rs 716.45 per kg in a business turnover of 5,489 lots.

Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to the raising of bets by participants.
