Copper Futures Rise on Demand - PTI

Copper prices surged 1.11% on the Multi Commodity Exchange, driven by higher spot demand. Analysts attribute the rise to increased bets by participants.
New Delhi, Apr 18 (PTI) Copper prices on Thursday rose 1.11 per cent to Rs 839 per kilogram in the futures market on the back of higher spot demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for delivery in April traded higher Rs 9.20 or 1.11 per cent at Rs 839 per kg in a business turnover of 3,952 lots.

Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to the raising of bets by participants.
