Copper Futures Rise on Higher Demand - PTI

Copper prices surged 0.23% to Rs 728.85 per kg on the MCX, driven by increased spot demand. Analysts cite rising bets by participants as a factor.
New Delhi, Dec 15 (PTI) Copper prices on Friday rose 0.23 per cent to Rs 728.85 per kilogram in the futures market on the back of higher spot demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for delivery in December traded higher by Rs 1.70 or 0.23 per cent at Rs 728.85 per kg in a business turnover of 4,445 lots.

Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to the raising of bets by participants.
