Copper Futures Rise on Higher Demand - PTI

Copper prices rose on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) on Wednesday due to increased spot demand. Analysts cite rising bets by participants as a key driver.
New Delhi, Feb 21 (PTI) Copper prices on Wednesday rose 0.28 per cent to Rs 727.15 per kilogram in the futures market on the back of higher spot demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for delivery in February traded higher Rs 2 or 0.28 per cent at Rs 727.15 per kg in a business turnover of 2,444 lots.

Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to the raising of bets by participants.
