Copper Futures Rise on Spot Demand | PTI

Copper prices climbed 0.48% to Rs 873.95/kg on the Multi Commodity Exchange, driven by increased spot demand and bullish bets by market participants.
New Delhi, Jul 9 (PTI) Copper prices on Tuesday rose 0.48 per cent to Rs 873.95 per kilogram in the futures market on the back of higher spot demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for delivery in July traded higher Rs 4.15 or 0.48 per cent at Rs 873.95 per kg in a business turnover of 6,893 lots.

Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to the raising of bets by participants.
