Copper Futures Rise on Strong Demand

Copper futures prices climbed on the Multi Commodity Exchange due to increased spot demand, driven by rising bets from market participants.
New Delhi, Jul 26 (PTI) Copper prices on Friday rose 0.39 per cent to Rs 799.10 per kilogram in the futures market on the back of higher spot demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for delivery in August traded higher Rs 3.10 or 0.39 per cent at Rs 799.10 per kg in a business turnover of 13,320 lots.

Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to the raising of bets by participants.
