Copper futures fell 0.3% to Rs 860.90 per kg on Wednesday, driven by muted demand in the domestic market. Analysts attribute the decline to position trimming by speculators.
New Delhi, Jun 5 (PTI) Copper futures on Wednesday fell 0.3 per cent to Rs 860.90 per kilogram as participants cut their positions amid a muted demand in the domestic market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for June delivery eased Rs 2.60 or 0.3 per cent to Rs 860.90 per kg in a business turnover of 6,075 lots.

Analysts said trimming of positions by speculators amid a muted demand in the spot market mainly dragged down copper prices in the futures trade.
