Copper Futures Slip on Weak Demand - PTI

Copper futures fell on Monday due to muted demand in the domestic market. Participants cut positions, leading to a decline in prices on the Multi Commodity Exchange.
New Delhi, Dec 4 (PTI) Copper futures on Monday fell Rs 3.30 to Rs 723.30 per kilogram as participants cut their positions amid a muted demand in the domestic market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for December delivery eased by Rs 3.30 or 0.45 per cent to Rs 723.30 per kg in a business turnover of 4,990 lots.
Analysts said trimming of positions by speculators amid a muted demand in the spot market mainly dragged down copper prices in the futures trade.
