Cottonseed Oil Cake Futures Decline on Soft Demand

Cottonseed oil cake futures prices fell on Thursday due to weak demand in the spot market. Participants reduced their bets, leading to a decline in prices.
New Delhi, Mar 20 (PTI) Cottonseed oil cake prices fell Re 1 to Rs 2,755 per quintal in futures trade on Thursday as participants reduced their bets following weak trends in the spot market.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for April delivery traded lower Re 1 or 0.04 per cent at Rs 2,755 per quintal with an open interest of 75,280 lots.

Analysts said a sell-off by participants at existing levels amid a subdued trend in the market mainly weighed on cottonseed oil cake prices.
