Cottonseed Oil Cake Futures Drop on Weak Demand

Cottonseed oil cake futures prices fell on Tuesday due to reduced bets by participants, following weak trends in spot markets.
New Delhi, Dec 19 (PTI) Cottonseed oil cake prices on Tuesday fell Rs 6 to Rs 2,789 per quintal in futures trade as participants reduced their bets following weak trends in spot markets.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for December delivery decreased Rs 6 or 0.22 per cent to Rs 2,789 per quintal with an open interest of 4,600 lots.
Analysts said a sell-off by participants at existing levels amid a subdued trend in the market mainly weighed on cottonseed oil cake prices.
