Cottonseed Oil Cake Futures Rise on Demand

Cottonseed oil cake futures prices rose on Wednesday due to increased demand for cattle feed. Speculators created fresh positions in the market.
New Delhi, May 29 (PTI) Cottonseed oil cake prices on Wednesday rose Rs 33 to Rs 2,731 per quintal in futures trade as speculators created fresh positions amid a higher demand.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for June delivery traded higher Rs 33 or 1.21 per cent at Rs 2,731 per quintal with an open interest of 73,020 lots.
Marketmen said the raising of positions by participants amid increasing demand for cattle feed mainly influenced cottonseed oil cake prices.
