Cottonseed Oil Cake Futures Rise on Demand

Cottonseed oil cake futures rose on Monday due to increased demand for cattle feed, with prices reaching Rs 2,805 per quintal on the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange.
New Delhi, Jun 24 (PTI) Cottonseed oil cake prices on Monday rose by Rs 7 to Rs 2,805 per quintal in futures trade as speculators created fresh positions amid a higher demand.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for July delivery traded higher Rs 7 or 0.29 per cent at Rs 2,805 per quintal with an open interest of 61,920 lots.

Marketmen said the raising of positions by participants amid increasing demand for cattle feed mainly influenced cottonseed oil cake prices.
