Cottonseed Oil Cake Futures Rise on Demand

Cottonseed oil cake futures prices surged on the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange due to increased demand for cattle feed.
New Delhi, Jun 27 (PTI) Cottonseed oil cake prices on Thursday rose Rs 24 to Rs 2,861 per quintal in futures trade as speculators created fresh positions amid a higher demand.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for July delivery traded higher by Rs 24, or 0.84 per cent, at Rs 2,861 per quintal with an open interest of 55,990 lots.

Marketmen said the raising of positions by participants amid increasing demand for cattle feed mainly influenced cottonseed oil cake prices.
