Cottonseed Oil Cake Futures Rise on Demand

Cottonseed oil cake prices rose in futures trade on Tuesday, driven by increased demand for cattle feed and speculative buying.
New Delhi, Jan 2 (PTI) Cottonseed oil cake prices on Tuesday rose Rs 5 to Rs 2,722 per quintal in futures trade as speculators created fresh positions amid a higher demand.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for January delivery traded higher by Rs 5 or 0.18 per cent at Rs 2,722 per quintal with an open interest of 33,970 lots.

Marketmen said the raising of positions by participants amid increasing demand for cattle feed mainly influenced cottonseed oil cake prices.
