Cottonseed Oil Cake Futures Rise on Demand

Cottonseed oil cake futures prices rose on Tuesday due to increased demand for cattle feed. Speculators created fresh positions, driving prices up on the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange.
New Delhi, May 14 (PTI) Cottonseed oil cake prices on Tuesday rose Rs 10 to Rs 2,595 per quintal in futures trade as speculators created fresh positions amid a higher demand.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for May delivery traded higher Rs 10 or 0.39 per cent at Rs 2,595 per quintal with an open interest of 820 lots.

Marketmen said the raising of positions by participants amid increasing demand for cattle feed mainly influenced cottonseed oil cake prices.
