Crude Oil Futures Decline on Low Demand - PTI

Crude oil futures on the Multi Commodity Exchange declined on Friday due to low demand, with West Texas Intermediate and Brent crude also trading lower globally.
New Delhi, May 17 (PTI) Crude oil futures on Friday declined 0.02 per cent to Rs 6,614 per barrel as participants trimmed their positions on low demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude oil for May delivery fell Rs 1 or 0.02 per cent to Rs 6,614 per barrel with a business volume of 6,460 lots.

Globally, West Texas Intermediate crude oil traded 0.27 per cent lower at USD 79.44 per barrel, while Brent crude was trading 0.32 per cent lower at USD 83.54 per barrel in New York.
