Crude Oil Futures Decline on Low Demand - PTI

Crude oil futures on the Multi Commodity Exchange declined 0.92% to Rs 5,948 per barrel due to low demand. Global oil prices also fell, with WTI crude down 1.75% and Brent crude down 1.58%.
New Delhi, Jan 17 (PTI) Crude oil futures on Wednesday declined 0.92 per cent to Rs 5,948 per barrel as participants trimmed their positions on low demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude oil for January delivery fell Rs 45 or 0.92 per cent to Rs 5,948 per barrel with a business volume of 4,874 lots.

Globally, West Texas Intermediate crude oil traded 1.75 per cent lower at USD 71.13 per barrel, while Brent crude was trading 1.58 per cent down at USD 77.05 per barrel in New York.
