Crude Oil Futures Decline on Low Demand

Crude oil futures declined on Thursday due to low demand, with MCX June delivery falling 0.45% to Rs 6,463 per barrel.
New Delhi, May 23 (PTI) Crude oil futures on Thursday declined 0.45 per cent to Rs 6,463 per barrel as participants trimmed their positions on low demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude oil for June delivery fell Rs 29 or 0.45 per cent to Rs 6,463 per barrel with a business volume of 7,617 lots.

Globally, West Texas Intermediate crude oil traded 0.28 per cent lower at USD 77.35 per barrel, while Brent crude was trading 0.20 per cent lower at USD 81.74 per barrel in New York.
