Crude Oil Futures Drop on Low Demand - PTI

Crude oil futures declined on Thursday due to low demand, with prices falling to Rs 6,489 per barrel on the Multi Commodity Exchange. Global oil prices also saw a dip.
New Delhi, Feb 29 (PTI) Crude oil futures on Thursday declined 0.48 per cent to Rs 6,489 per barrel as participants trimmed their positions on low demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude oil for March delivery fell Rs 31 or 0.48 per cent to Rs 6,489 per barrel with a business volume of 6,082 lots.

Globally, West Texas Intermediate crude oil traded 0.46 per cent lower at USD 78.18 per barrel, while Brent crude was trading 0.60 per cent lower at USD 83.18 per barrel in New York.
