Crude Oil Futures Rise on Spot Demand - PTI

Crude oil prices climbed Rs 44 to Rs 6,570 per barrel in futures trade on Wednesday, driven by a firm spot demand, according to PTI.
New Delhi, Jun 12 (PTI) Crude oil prices on Wednesday climbed Rs 44 to Rs 6,570 per barrel in futures trade as participants widened their positions following a firm spot demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude oil for June delivery traded higher Rs 44 or 0.67 per cent at Rs 6,570 per barrel in 7,228 lots.

Analysts said raising of bets by participants kept crude oil prices higher in futures trade.

Globally, West Texas Intermediate crude oil rose 0.76 per cent to USD 78.49 per barrel, and Brent crude traded 0.56 per cent higher at USD 82.38 per barrel in New York.
