Crude Oil Futures Rise on Spot Demand - PTI

Crude oil prices rose on Wednesday, driven by increased demand. Futures trading saw a rise of Rs 22, reaching Rs 6,804 per barrel. Global benchmarks like WTI and Brent also saw gains.
New Delhi, Nov 1 (PTI) Crude oil prices on Wednesday increased by Rs 22 to Rs 6,804 per barrel in futures trade as participants widened their positions following a firm spot demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude oil for November delivery traded higher by Rs 22 or 0.32 per cent at Rs 6,804 per barrel in 7,091 lots.

Analysts said raising of bets by participants kept crude oil prices higher in futures trade.

Globally, West Texas Intermediate crude oil was up by 0.46 per cent at USD 81.39 per barrel, and Brent crude traded 0.55 per cent higher at USD 85.49 per barrel in New York.
