Crude Oil Futures Rise on Spot Demand - PTI

Crude oil futures prices in India increased on Wednesday due to strong spot demand, while global benchmarks saw slight declines. Read more.
New Delhi, Nov 22 (PTI) Crude oil prices on Wednesday increased Rs 16 to Rs 6,484 per barrel in futures trade as participants widened their positions following a firm spot demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude oil for December delivery traded higher by Rs 16 or 0.25 per cent at Rs 6,484 per barrel in 11,075 lots.

Analysts said raising of bets by participants kept crude oil prices higher in futures trade.

Globally, West Texas Intermediate crude oil was down by 0.05 per cent to USD 77.73 per barrel, and Brent crude traded 0.07 per cent lower at USD 82.39 per barrel in New York.
