Crude Oil Futures Rise on Spot Demand | PTI

Crude oil futures prices increased on the Multi Commodity Exchange due to firm spot demand. Analysts attribute the rise to increased bets by participants. Read more.
New Delhi, Nov 23 (PTI) Crude oil prices on Thursday increased Rs 28 to Rs 6,391 per barrel in futures trade as participants widened their positions following a firm spot demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude oil for December delivery traded higher by Rs 28 or 0.44 per cent at Rs 6,391 per barrel in 11,435 lots.

Analysts said raising of bets by participants kept crude oil prices higher in futures trade.

Globally, West Texas Intermediate crude oil was down by 0.70 per cent to USD 76.56 per barrel, and Brent crude traded 0.77 per cent lower at USD 81.33 per barrel in New York.
