Crude Oil Futures Rise on Spot Demand - PTI

Crude oil futures on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) rose on Wednesday, driven by increased spot demand and positive global market sentiment.
New Delhi, Sep 11 (PTI) Crude oil prices on Wednesday rose Rs 93 to Rs 5,606 per barrel in futures trade as participants widened their positions following a firm spot demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude oil for October delivery traded higher Rs 93 or 1.69 per cent at Rs 5,606 per barrel in 11,677 lots.

Analysts said raising of bets by participants kept crude oil prices higher in futures trade.

Globally, West Texas Intermediate crude oil was up by 1.44 per cent to USD 66.70 per barrel, and Brent crude traded 1.36 per cent higher at USD 70.13 per barrel in New York.
